Models of organizational behaviour are a significant variable in the life of all groups. Many models of organizational behaviour have appeared during the last 100 years, and four of them are significant and different enough to merit further discussion. These are the autocratic, custodial, supportive, and collegial models.

While autocratic model aims at satisfying physiological needs through use of power and custodial model aims at satisfying their safety needs through use of money, the supportive model aims to satisfy their psychological needs also besides physiological and safety needs through participative style of management.
The five models of organizational behavior are autocratic, custodial, supportive, collegial, and system. The models were formulated on the assumption that managers hold attitudes about people, and these attitudes lead to different interpretations of events and styles of management.
Custodial Model The custodial model depends on economic resources. The resulting managerial orientation is, towards money to pay wages and benefits. Since employees’ physical needs are already reasonably met, the employer looks to security needs as a motivating force.
The primary purposes regarding organizational behavior systems are to name and then help manipulate the major human in addition to organizational variables that affect the results organizations making the effort to achieve. Custodial Model:- This model focuses better employee satisfaction and security. Under this model organizations satisfy the security and welfare needs of employees. Hence, it is known as custodian model.
